Travel Grants
Non-German conference participants can apply for a grant from BI-International, the standing committee at the German National Association of Library and Information Associations Bibliothek & Information Deutschland (BID). It provides financial support for congress attendances in Germany with German government funding. For more information see:

How to get to the Katholische Akademie Hamburg:
Arrival by public transport from Hamburg Main Station
By S-Bahn (urban railway system):
Take the S-Bahn line S1 or S3 going to Altona and get off at Stadthausbrücke station. Take the exit Herrengraben/Düsternstraße which is next to the Katholische Akademie.
By subway:
Take the subway line U3 going to Barmbek from Hauptbahnhof-Süd (Main Station South), get off at Rödingsmarkt Station. Take the exit leading to the passage near the Steigenberger Hotel and continue straight ahead across the bridge (Michaelisbrücke). The Katholische Akademie is on the opposite end. (5 minutes on foot).
